Not much to write about at the moment other than the GD pop up that seems to always interrupt my thoughts while posting.
This year, I have read a few times how our team is in need at several positions, but I have to disagree.  I think we are a playmaker or two away from getting to the playoffs, and that was evident by last season.  Half of which was played with a strong arm QB that made more mistakes to lose winnable games, and a head coach who proved to not know much about how to manage the 60 minutes he had.
JT and Nolan are smart guys, along with Martz, and I mean no disrespect.  They just seemed to drag our team down more than they were helping, as it proved evident when the season ended and the same group of guys responded under coach Singletary.
I am excited about the upcoming year.
Don't know much about any of the talent available in the draft other than what YouTube peaks will show me, since I don't follow college football, but I am terribly curious at what guy will arrive here.
I love the physical stature of Orakpo.  There are a few other guys I'd like to see in uniform, but I know better than to get my hopes up.  Along with that, I believe that we have the playmaker(s) we need to take us to the next level already on our team.  It's only a matter of time before some of the guy's talent shines.  All it takes is a spark, and Singletary appears to have a blowtoarch when it comes to waking these guys up.
*also, John Madden not being heard on Sundays is strange to me and I hope the networks don't try to hire another Dennis Miller for sake of ratings.
Madden will be missed.  But I hear his game is supposed to be improving this year.  haha
